The team
Corporate Affairs provides expertise to the business in influencing and connecting with audiences, and is responsible for creating the right climate for our work to succeed. This involves managing our corporate reputation, building effective relationships and promoting the work of NPS.
The role
For the duration of your six-month maximum term contract, you will lead and manage Corporate Affairs to ensure we have positive and mutually beneficial relationships with members, government, media and other external stakeholders. You will leverage relationships to achieve organisational goals and drive awareness of our work.
You will have
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
- Strong track record of successful corporate affairs management and implementation.
- Superior leadership and people management skills including demonstrated ability to develop capability in staff and manage change.
- Sound knowledge and understanding of business processes and planning and proven ability to contribute and plan at a strategic level.
- High-level relationship management, influencing and negotiation skills including the ability to manage the needs of multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture contact networks in media, government and the health industry as well as an understanding of health industry issues and nuances.
- Demonstrated strong crisis and media management skills.
- Previous experience working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Superior project management and organisational skills.
