A clinical research technology company located in Audubon, PA has a 3 month contract available for a Technical Writer.
?
Responsibilities:
??The Technical Writer will create working instructions, SOPs and user support materials for the new version of Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS).
??Partner with Business Analyst to learn complex technical information and communicate it in a readable, concise, and accurate manner.
??Edit, clarify, and proofread documents written by others, and coach engineers on ways to improve their writing skills.
??Design and organize documentation sets and templates that are automatically synced with source code.
??Will provide process guidance (through training materials and documentation created) on how to use workflows with TFS
??Will gather work process instructions in team meetings to help document potential workflows and then present this to the Project Manager for review.
Requirements:
??4 years relevant work experience, including experience researching and writing excellent documentation for development.
??Ability to read and understand software development and source code best practices.
??Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Source Safe, Team Foundation Server (TFS) or other source code management tools.
??Exceptional attention to detail and ability to write drafts with minimal grammatical, formatting, or spelling errors
??Ability to analyze the work that is given and determine quickly what other information is needed to complete daily tasks
